Cipriano Guardia vs Dario Monte

Boxing Daily Report from the Monare Promotions promoted show at Montel Rolon Gym, Managua,  taking place on 27/09/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua-Managua Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cipriano Guardia (17 - 19(4) - 3) who hails from Tipitapa, Nicaragua and Dario Monte(19 - 3 - 2) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Guardia weighed in at 126 pounds, while Monte weighed in at 125 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Delgado, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo San Angelo, Joaquin Mosso and Neron Limes.  

Round 1: 

Monte walks his opponent into a corner.  Monte pivots to the side of his opponent.  Guardia strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Monte closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Monte is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Monte cuts off the ring, trapping Guardia in the red corner.  Monte hits home with a right uppercut.  
Monte pivots to the side of his opponent.  Guardia lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Monte closes the distance.  Monte sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Monte wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Guardia dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Monte waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Guardia hits home with a cross.  
Monte is looking to close the distance and manages to force Guardia into the corner.  Monte is on target with a left hook.  
Guardia tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Monte dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Monte digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Monte walks Guardia into a corner.  Monte hits home with a left uppercut.
