Bradley Jones vs Patrick Letson

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at North Shore Newman, North Shore,  taking place on 30/09/2036:

Clearly Simasiku Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bradley Jones (16 - 17(3) - 2) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Patrick Letson(10 - 3(2) - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Jones and Letson weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Skene, and the three ringside judges are Dale Mostyn, Paul Vaux and Kyle Stine.  

Round 1: 

Jones is on target with a jab.  
Letson gets on the inside and walks Jones into a neutral corner.  Letson digs in a left uppercut to Jones's liver.  
Jones hits home with a cross.  
Letson gets on the inside.  Jones tries to land a left hook, but Letson parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Letson is on target with a left uppercut.  
Letson manouvers Jones into a corner.  Letson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Letson dabs at his face checking for damage.  Letson has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Letson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Jones connects with a cross.
