Rico Gehrs vs Baron Sanger

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at Harimann Aeschliman Gym, Bern,  taking place on 06/10/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland-East Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Gehrs (8 - 18(2) - 2) who hails from Winterthur, Switzerland and Baron Sanger(19(4) - 13 - 1) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Both Gehrs and Sanger weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luduvico Amend, and the three ringside judges are Maynor Cruey, Walten Gergel and Derrick Stross.  

Round 1: 

Sanger pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gehrs throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Sanger to the neutral corner.  He tells Gehrs he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Sanger pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gehrs throws a right hook, but Sanger holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sanger pushes his forearm into Gehrs's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Sanger.  
Sanger sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Sanger lands with a ramrod jab.  
Sanger is looking to close the distance and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Sanger lands a sharp jab.  
Sanger is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sanger pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Sanger tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Sanger is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Sanger feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right.  
Sanger lands a sharp jab.

Sanger gets on the inside and forces Gehrs to back into a corner.  Sanger digs in a solid right hook to Gehrs's body.  
Sanger hits home with a sharp left hook.

Sanger steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Sanger forces Gehrs to back into the ropes.  Sanger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gehrs lands a double right hook to his opponents head.
