Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 19/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (51(46) - 2(1)) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Esteban Saenz(27(7) - 9(3)) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Saam and Saenz weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amer Othman, and the three ringside judges are Peter Spang, Dave Carrasco and Mel Paton.  

Round 1: 

Saam lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Saenz steps inside and manouvers Saam onto the ropes.  Saam is on target with a right hook.  
Saenz is looking to close the distance.  Saam lands a firm right uppercut.  Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Saam pushes his forearm into Saenz's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Saam.  
Saam tries to keep the action at long range and lands a spiteful jab.  
Saenz sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Saam lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Saenz throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Saam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  
Saenz advances into close range.  Saam lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Saam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Saam tries to keep the action at long range.  Saenz tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a weighty right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE SAENZ WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Saenz recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Saam lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Saam is looking to force the stoppage!  Saam lands a cross followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  He then lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head.  It looks like Saenz has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Saam tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Saenz is looking to close the distance and forces Saam to back into the ropes.  Saenz throws a left uppercut, but Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saenz connects with a left uppercut.  Saenz tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Saam steps away from his opponent.  Saam sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Saenz lands with a ramrod jab.  
Saenz steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Saenz pushes his forearm into Saam's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saam lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Saam feints a cross, and then lands a straight 1 - 2, AND SAENZ IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Saam's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Saenz's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Saenz throws a left uppercut, but Saam clinches his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent using all his weight. Saam uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Saenz's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Saam circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Saenz attempts to land a jab, but Saam slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Saam lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Saenz gets on the inside.  Saam lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Saam steps to the outside and lands a HUGE cross.  SAENZ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Saenz advances into close range.  Saam lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Saenz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Saam is on target with a sharp right hook to Saenz's body.  
Saenz gets on the inside.  Saenz quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Saam lands a stinging right hook.  
Saenz advances into close range.  Saam lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND DROPS SAENZ!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Saenz recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Saam digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Saam lands with a ramrod jab.  
Saam lands a sharp jab.  
Saam EXPLODES a DEVASTATING cross into his opponents face.  SAENZ IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE SAENZ THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Saam!
