Connor Comb vs Denton Messer

Boxing Daily Report from the Ravens promoted show at Arlington Powell, Arlington,  taking place on 06/10/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Connor Comb (19 - 10(2) - 1) who hails from El Paso, USA and Denton Messer(36 - 11 - 1) from Houston, USA.  Comb weighed in at 249 pounds and 11 ounces, while Messer weighed in at 226 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joey Moat, and the three ringside judges are Rob Smith, Mark Bellamy and Daniel Canas.  

Round 1: 

Messer advances into close range.  Messer lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Messer dabs at his face checking for damage.  Messer has come off worse after that clash of heads.
