Ming Ge vs Sancho Padilla

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at New Cebu Coliseum, Cebu City,  taking place on 22/11/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ABS Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ming Ge (22(18) - 1(1)) who hails from Taiyuan, China and Sancho Padilla(18 - 1) from Chipancingo, Mexico.  Both Ge and Padilla weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Macalam, and the three ringside judges are Mark Labuanan, Fanuco Mejias and Ricky Magana.  

Round 1: 

Ge is on target with a jab.  
Padilla digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ge lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Ge is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Ge ties up his opponent.  Ge leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Padilla pushes his forearm into Ge's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Padilla about fouling.  
Ge lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Ge is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Ge lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND PADILLA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Padilla has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Padilla advances into close range.  Ge tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ge lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ge manouvers Padilla onto the ropes.  Ge is on target with a left hook.  Ge ties up his opponent.  Ge leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ge's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ge closes the distance.  Padilla sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ge lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ge walks Padilla down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Ge lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Padilla almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ge lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Padilla lands a right hook.  
Ge manages to force Padilla onto the ropes.  Ge lands a sharp right hook.  Ge throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Ge closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Ge quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ge connects with a sharp right hook.  Ge tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ge hits home with a stinging left hook.  Ge clinches his opponent.  Ge pushes his forearm into Padilla's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ge is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Ge lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Padilla's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Padilla's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Ge closes the distance.  Padilla attempts to land a right hook, but Ge slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Padilla lands a cross.  
Ge steps inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Ge lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND KNOCKS PADILLA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.

Padilla is on target with a firm left hook to Ge's body.  
Padilla drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Ge drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Ge lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Ge walks Padilla down, trapping him in a corner.  Padilla attempts to land a right hook, but Ge slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook to Padilla's ribcage.  
Ge lands a firm right uppercut.  
Padilla throws a left hook, but Ge clinches his opponent.  Ge uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Padilla behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ge.  
Padilla connects with a left hook.  
Ge lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Padilla is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ge is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Padilla is on target with a cross.  
Ge closes the distance.  As Ge tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Padilla dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ge lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Padilla recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Ge is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ge attempts to land a left hook, but Padilla slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Padilla attempts to land a left hook, but Ge slips the shot and counters with a FIERCE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE PADILLA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Padilla almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Padilla advances into close range.  Ge lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, DROPPING PADILLA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Ge sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ge EXPLODES a HUGE right hook into his opponents face.  PADILLA IS HURT!  Ge attempts to land a right uppercut, but Padilla slips the shot and counters with a cross.  Padilla almost instantly gets his legs back.
