Aftab Akhter vs Thompson Sherif

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Delta State promoted show at Warri Adefarasin, Warri,  taking place on 15/10/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aftab Akhter (23(4) - 12(2) - 2) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Thompson Sherif(23(2) - 1 - 2) from Warri, Nigeria.  Akhter weighed in at 126 pounds, while Sherif weighed in at 125 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chima Iloenyosi, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Nasser, Gbolahan Gana and Bature Afolayan.
