Barry Ogonga vs Evan Connell

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 25/10/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Barry Ogonga (21(12) - 1) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Evan Connell(31(17) - 4(2)) from Belfast, UK.  Ogonga weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces, while Connell weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Taggert, and the three ringside judges are Leon Kellar, Corey Pait and Callum MacQueen.
