Dimos Marro vs Noe Verduzco

Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Solares, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 15/10/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dimos Marro (25 - 15(2) - 3) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Noe Verduzco(22(9) - 0) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Marro and Verduzco weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isidro Rubio, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Burgo, Dimos Navarra and Jose Triano.  

Round 1: 

Verduzco advances into close range.  Verduzco pivots to the right of his opponent.  Verduzco lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Verduzco clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Verduzco pushes his forearm into Marro's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Verduzco.  
Verduzco gets on the inside.  Marro throws a right hook, but Verduzco ties up his opponent.  Verduzco leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Verduzco's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Verduzco lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Verduzco is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Verduzco lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Verduzco clinches his opponent.  Verduzco leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Verduzco steps inside and drives a potent left hook into Marro's ribs.  MARRO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Verduzco clinches his opponent.  Verduzco is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Marro's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Marro's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
