Colin Peters vs David Faulds

Boxing Daily Report from the Numb Nation promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 18/10/2036:

Clearly Numb Nation have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colin Peters (11 - 22(1) - 1) who hails from Waterbury, USA and David Faulds(5 - 18(2) - 2) from Waterbury, USA.  Both Peters and Faulds weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Dysart, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Kerr, Ian Cragg and Inigo Kelton.  

Round 1: 

Peters is looking to close the distance.  Peters pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Faulds is looking to close the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Peters is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Faulds is on target with a jab.  
Faulds is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Peters holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Faulds pushes his forearm into Peters's face.  The ref breaks Peters's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Peters advances into close range.  Faulds lands a left hook.  
Peters lands a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Peters's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Peters's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
