Destin Nguemo vs Simon Brunet

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Garoua Chiangeh, Garoua,  taking place on 21/10/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Destin Nguemo (13 - 10) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Simon Brunet(8 - 0) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Both Nguemo and Brunet weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emmanuel Biyik, and the three ringside judges are Justin Mbamba, Waltier Moreau and Ferrand Baute.  

Round 1: 

Nguemo is on target with a jab.  
Brunet closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Nguemo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Nguemo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nguemo attempts to land a cross, but Brunet sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Brunet steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Brunet is on target with a cross.  
Nguemo is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  Nguemo throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Brunet is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Nguemo's body.  
Brunet sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
