Selig Kuchenbrod vs Rainer Gerecke

Boxing Daily Report from the Ankrah Promotions promoted show at Augsburg Stracke, Augsburg,  taking place on 23/10/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Germany-Bavaria Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Selig Kuchenbrod (8 - 14(1) - 2) who hails from Munich, Germany and Rainer Gerecke(3 - 4 - 4) from Nuremberg, Germany.  Both Kuchenbrod and Gerecke weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bertram Stockner, and the three ringside judges are Einhardt Matzek, Arnold Gerdeman and Meino Ahlborn.  

Round 1: 

Kuchenbrod stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Gerecke finds the target with a jab.  
Gerecke steps to the outside.  Kuchenbrod attempts to land a jab, but Gerecke slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
