Peter Harp vs Jonathan Lightbody

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at AAMI Park, Melbourne,  taking place on 22/11/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Main Event, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Harp (48(44) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Jonathan Lightbody(23(2) - 18(8)) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Both Harp and Lightbody weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Steven Malas, and the three ringside judges are Gus Seward, Brendan Stronach and Gregor Dolan.  

Round 1: 

Harp lands a sharp jab.  
Harp closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.

Lightbody tries to land a jab, but Harp slips the shot and counters with a SAVAGE right uppercut.  LIGHTBODY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Lightbody almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Harp steps inside.  Harp pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging right uppercut.

Harp closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lightbody almost instantly recovers.

Harp steps away from his opponent.  Lightbody attempts to land a jab, but Harp sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Lightbody attempts to land a right hook, but Harp parries the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Harp sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.

Harp lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Lightbody quickly recovers. 
Harp lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Harp tries to land a jab, but Lightbody dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.

Harp stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Harp lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS LIGHTBODY TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Harp tries to keep the action at long range.  Harp lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS LIGHTBODY TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Lightbody has now recovered from that shot earlier.
