Alen Basini vs Greg Hanegan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 24/10/2036:

Clearly AI Australia-New South Wales have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Basini (5(4) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Greg Hanegan(1 - 2(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Basini and Hanegan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dylan Hawley, and the three ringside judges are Richard Nessmith, Kenzie Bianchi and Ian Oshchepkov.  

Round 1: 

Basini is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Basini ties up his opponent.  Basini is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Basini drives a sharp left hook into Hanegan's ribs.  
Basini walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Basini lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hanegan lands a right hook.  Basini clinches his opponent.  Basini leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Basini lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS HANEGAN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Hanegan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hanegan attempts to land a right hook, but Basini blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook to Hanegan's body.  
Hanegan steps inside.  Basini is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  Basini holds on to his opponent.  Basini pushes his forearm into Hanegan's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Basini is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Basini lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Basini lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Hanegan is looking to close the distance and forces Basini to retreat onto the ropes.  Basini drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Hanegan steps inside.  Basini is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  Basini ties up his opponent.  Basini is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Basini to stop fouling.  
Basini lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Basini finds the target with a jab.  
Basini is on target with a cross.  
Hanegan hits home with a left uppercut.  
Basini lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Basini lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Hanegan throws a left hook, but Basini clinches his opponent.  Basini uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hanegan's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Basini lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Basini clinches his opponent.  Basini leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Basini lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Basini holds on to his opponent.  Basini leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Basini lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Basini is looking to close the distance and lands a nasty left uppercut.  HANEGAN IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Basini advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Basini clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Basini pushes his forearm into Hanegan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Basini about fouling.  
Basini DETONATES a BRUTAL right hook on his opponents face.  HANEGAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hanegan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Basini digs in a firm left uppercut to Hanegan's liver.  
Basini sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hanegan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Basini lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Basini steps inside.  Some sustained pressure from Basini could be enough to finish Hanegan!  Basini lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, DROPPING HANEGAN TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Basini!
