Floyd McCloy vs Inigo Kilpatrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Alhassan Promotions promoted show at Perth Rosie, Perth,  taking place on 18/11/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Floyd McCloy (7(4) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Inigo Kilpatrick(2 - 1 - 2) from Wollongong, Australia.  Both McCloy and Kilpatrick weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Dykes, and the three ringside judges are Chris Vaughn, Mark Handyside and Mark Caras.  

Round 1: 

McCloy lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
McCloy lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McCloy hits home with a right hook.

Kilpatrick manouvers his opponent into a corner.  McCloy lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

McCloy attempts to land a right hook, but Kilpatrick sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCloy is looking to keep his distance and connects with a stinging cross.

Kilpatrick is looking to close the distance.  McCloy pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
McCloy tries to keep the action at long range.  McCloy sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.

McCloy feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Kilpatrick advances into close range.  McCloy lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Kilpatrick now seems to have his senses back.  
McCloy steps to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Kilpatrick is looking to close the distance.  Kilpatrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McCloy lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
McCloy lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  McCloy clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks McCloy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCloy tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
Kilpatrick walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McCloy lands a right hook, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND KILPATRICK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Kilpatrick recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kilpatrick's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Kilpatrick's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Kilpatrick's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

McCloy feints a left, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
McCloy lands with a spiteful jab.  
McCloy SLAMS a mean cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE KILPATRICK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kilpatrick almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kilpatrick pivots to the right of his opponent.  McCloy lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kilpatrick gets on the inside.  McCloy pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
McCloy is on target with a jab.  
McCloy lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
McCloy steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McCloy steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
McCloy finds the target with a sharp jab.
