Xaver Lares vs Diego Alonzo

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Rodrigo Gutierez Gym, Mexicali,  taking place on 31/10/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaver Lares (5 - 7 - 1) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Diego Alonzo(17 - 9(1)) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Lares and Alonzo weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sagaz Moya, and the three ringside judges are Gervasio Sastre, Marjun Villalpando and Carlos Campo.  

Round 1: 

Alonzo gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Alonzo ties up his opponent.  Alonzo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Alonzo tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Lares behind the head.
