Lukman Simusamba vs Shevon Balo

Boxing Daily Report from the Middleleaze Promotions promoted show at Trory Badat Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 06/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lukman Simusamba (5 - 6(2) - 4) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Shevon Balo(16(3) - 5 - 1) from Ndola, Zambia.  Simusamba weighed in at 229 pounds and 11 ounces, while Balo weighed in at 231 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Munda, and the three ringside judges are Faraji Jobe, Phornello Hamabilo and Nuru Chisela.  

Round 1: 

Balo drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Balo advances into close range.  Simusamba throws a left hook, but Balo holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Balo lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Simusamba lands a right uppercut.  Balo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Balo pushes his forearm into Simusamba's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Balo to stop fouling.  
Simusamba tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Balo is looking to close the distance.  Simusamba wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Balo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Simusamba throws a right hook, but Balo clinches his opponent.  Balo uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Simusamba behind the head. Balo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
