Darragh Walsh vs Vincenc Simar

Boxing Daily Report from the Apple Pie Boxing promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 29/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darragh Walsh (17(8) - 0) who hails from Watford, UK and Vincenc Simar(21 - 12(2) - 6) from Ostrava, Czech Republic.  Both Walsh and Simar weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Glyn Bowen and Gethin Kerrigan.  

Round 1: 

Walsh closes the distance.  Simar pivots to the left of his opponent.  Walsh lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Walsh lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Walsh steps inside and lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Walsh lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Walsh walks Simar down, trapping him in the corner.  Walsh lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Walsh lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Walsh advances into close range and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Walsh is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into Simar's body.  
Walsh steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Walsh ties up his opponent.  Walsh tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Simar behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Walsh.  
Walsh walks Simar into the corner.  Walsh drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  As Simar tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Walsh dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Walsh is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Walsh drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Walsh holds on to his opponent.  Walsh pushes his forearm into Simar's face.  The referee warns Walsh and breaks the clinch.  
Walsh digs in a telling right hook to Simar's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE SIMAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Walsh senses Simar is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Walsh lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SIMAR IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Simar now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Walsh walks Simar down, trapping him on the ropes.  Walsh throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Walsh clinches his opponent.  Walsh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Walsh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Simar tries to land a left hook, but Walsh dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Walsh lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Simar throws a right hook, but Walsh clinches his opponent.  Walsh leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Simar's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Simar's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Walsh manages to force Simar onto the ropes.  Walsh lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Walsh lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Walsh sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Simar tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Walsh dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Walsh advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Walsh manages to force Simar into a corner.  Walsh sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Walsh closes the distance.  Walsh senses Simar is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Walsh slams a mean right uppercut into Simar's ribs.  SIMAR IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Walsh lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SIMAR IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Walsh lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS SIMAR DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Walsh!
