Jamie Hilley vs Bob Jeppesen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Elk's Temple, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 04/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Michigan Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jamie Hilley (25(16) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and Bob Jeppesen(14 - 13(1) - 7) from Detroit, USA.  Hilley weighed in at 130 pounds, while Jeppesen weighed in at 130 pounds And 8 ounces.    As Jeppesen came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Amon Watters, and the three ringside judges are Max Gura, Chris Perk and John Swineford.  

Round 1: 

Hilley closes the distance.  Hilley quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hilley digs in a left uppercut to Jeppesen's body.  Hilley ties up his opponent.  Hilley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hilley to stop fouling.  
Jeppesen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hilley lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Hilley clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hilley lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hilley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Jeppesen's body.  Hilley wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Jeppesen dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hilley is on target with a jab.  
Hilley crashes a nasty left hook to his opponents body.  JEPPESEN IS HURT!  
Hilley is looking to close the distance.  Hilley senses Jeppesen is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Hilley whips in a big left uppercut to Jeppesen's liver.  JEPPESEN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Hilley lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING JEPPESEN TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Jeppesen has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hilley lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Hilley closes the distance.  Hilley pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hilley lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Hilley ties up his opponent.  Hilley leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Hilley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hilley is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hilley lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hilley lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hilley is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hilley lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Hilley lands a left hook.  Hilley ties up his opponent.  Hilley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hilley is on target with a sharp left hook to Jeppesen's ribs.  
Hilley lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Jeppesen almost instantly recovers. 
Hilley drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Hilley ties up his opponent.  Hilley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hilley steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Hilley manages to force Jeppesen into the corner.  Hilley lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Hilley lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS JEPPESEN DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Hilley manouvers Jeppesen into the blue corner.  Hilley pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Hilley lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hilley lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Jeppesen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Jeppesen switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Hilley steps inside and manages to force Jeppesen onto the ropes.  Hilley sidesteps to the left of his opponent and crashes a hurtful left uppercut to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE JEPPESEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Jeppesen's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
