Colin Kimmons vs Jake Maclay

Boxing Daily Report from the ALT Promotions promoted show at ALT Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 20/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Colin Kimmons (6 - 0) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Jake Maclay(4 - 29(1) - 1) from Northampton, UK.  Both Kimmons and Maclay weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Terry Lyons, and the three ringside judges are Glyn Bowen, Glyn Bowen and Gethin Kerrigan.  

Round 1: 

Kimmons lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Kimmons ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kimmons pushes his forearm into Maclay's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Maclay gets on the inside.  Kimmons pivots to the side of his opponent.  Maclay throws a right hook, but Kimmons holds on to his opponent.  Maclay pushes his forearm into Kimmons's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maclay closes the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Kimmons lands a left uppercut.
