Neil McComb vs Brendan MacMurdo

Boxing Daily Report from the Apple Pie Boxing promoted show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff,  taking place on 29/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neil McComb (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Brendan MacMurdo(8 - 6) from Nottingham, UK.  Both McComb and MacMurdo weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Glyn Bowen and Gethin Kerrigan.  

Round 1: 

McComb is looking to keep his distance.  McComb quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  MacMurdo finds the target with a jab.  
McComb advances into close range.  MacMurdo tries to land a left hook, but McComb dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
