Ciaran McCaig vs Daiki Takeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 06/12/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ciaran McCaig (10(2) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Daiki Takeda(14(12) - 4(2)) from Chiba, Japan.  McCaig weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces, while Takeda weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Tsutsumi, and the three ringside judges are Hiroki Amaya, Ichiro Koizumi and Isamu Nonaka.  

Round 1:

Some sustained pressure from McCaig could be enough to finish Takeda!  McCaig lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head, AND TAKEDA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
McCaig closes the distance.  Takeda throws a right hook, but McCaig holds on to his opponent.  McCaig pushes his forearm into Takeda's face.  The ref breaks McCaig's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Takeda now seems to have got his legs back.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Takeda's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
