John Burns vs Jose Lanza

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Camara Ganadera Colosseum, San Jose,  taking place on 22/11/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are John Burns (4 - 0) who hails from Dundalk, Ireland and Jose Lanza(1 - 0 - 1) from Cali, Colombia.  Both Burns and Lanza weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Javier Gallo, and the three ringside judges are Fraco Dario, Esteban Macario and Santiago Durazo.  

Round 1: 

Lanza attempts to land a left hook, but Burns slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lanza steps away from his opponent.  Burns sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Burns tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Burns's ribs.  
Burns is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Burns forces Lanza to back into the corner.  Burns sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Burns attempts to land a jab, but Lanza blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Burns is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Burns holds on to his opponent.  Burns is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Burns tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Burns gets on the inside.  Lanza throws a right hook, but Burns holds on to his opponent.  Burns leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Burns uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lanza behind the head. 
Burns connects with a solid right hook.  
Lanza tries to step out of his opponents range.  Burns is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Lanza is on target with a cross.  
Burns is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  Burns tries to land a right hook, but Lanza parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Burns gets on the inside.  Lanza pivots from in front of his opponent.  Burns lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Burns ties up his opponent.  Burns is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Burns's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Burns lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Lanza tries to land a cross, but Burns sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Burns lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Burns EXPLODES a WICKED right hook into his opponents face.  LANZA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT LANZA IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Burns!
