Xavier Riva vs Sam Salvatierra

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 19/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are El Rio Xavier Riva (18(13) - 0) who hails from Santa Clara, Cuba and Slick Sam Salvatierra(39(16) - 10(6) - 3) from Fremont, USA.  Riva weighed in at 147 pounds, while Salvatierra weighed in at 146 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hyland, and the three ringside judges are Dominic Owen, Peter Ardis and John Summerfield.  

Round 1: 

Riva advances into close range and connects with a stinging left hook.
