Danny Parrilla vs Will Balmer

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at CFE Arena, Orlando,  taking place on 06/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Florida Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danny Parrilla (20(4) - 1) who hails from Orlando, USA and Will Balmer(17 - 5 - 4) from Jacksonville, USA.  Parrilla weighed in at 139 pounds and 11 ounces, while Balmer weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Merrick, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Calley, Mark Pettry and Elliot Balderas.  

Round 1: 

Parrilla advances into close range and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Parrilla lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Parrilla pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Balmer tries to step out of his opponents range.  Parrilla quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a cross.

Parrilla forces Balmer to retreat into the corner.  Parrilla digs in a sharp right uppercut to Balmer's body.  
Parrilla quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Parrilla lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Parrilla forces Balmer to back into a corner.  Parrilla sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Parrilla tries to land a right hook, but Balmer blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Parrilla uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Balmer's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Parrilla is on target with a solid cross to Balmer's body.  
Parrilla steps inside.  Balmer pivots to the side of his opponent.  Balmer throws a left hook, but Parrilla holds on to his opponent.  Parrilla uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Balmer behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Parrilla about fouling.  
Parrilla tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.

Frustration is starting to boil over for Balmer now.   He steps in close and strikes his opponent with a blatant headbutt!  The ref ignores Parrilla's protests and signals for the action to continue!  
Balmer is starting to lose his head here!   He advances forward with head down and it catches Parrilla in the face!  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Parrilla to the neutral corner.    He tells Balmer to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.
