Napoleon Assiful vs Rich Kani

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing 2.0 promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 28/11/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SuperSport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Napoleon Assiful (20(11) - 3(2)) who hails from Katlehong, South Africa and Rich Kani(7 - 0) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  Assiful weighed in at 140 pounds, while Kani weighed in at 139 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bakwamba, and the three ringside judges are Phumelele Mkhize, David Pienaar and Vuyisile Sekola.  

Round 1: 

Assiful lands a solid left hook.  
Assiful gets on the inside.  Kani lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Assiful pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kani connects with a cross.  
Assiful switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kani lands with a stiff jab.  
Assiful is looking to keep his distance and hits home with an overhand right.  
Kani pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Assiful tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand right.  
Kani manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Kani is on target with a cross.  
Kani tries to keep the action at long range.  Assiful lands a stinging overhand left.  
Assiful EXPLODES a nasty right hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE KANI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Assiful throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Assiful senses Kani is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Assiful lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS KANI!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Kani hits home with a cross.  
Assiful steps to the outside.  Assiful is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Assiful lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS KANI DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Kani is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Assiful!
