Yoshi Niwa vs Eiji Kanemoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Osaka Miyoshi, Osaka,  taking place on 25/11/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yoshi Niwa (10 - 13 - 3) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Eiji Kanemoto(5 - 8(1) - 3) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Niwa and Kanemoto weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jun Nakahara, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Goto, Naoki Shiraki and Akira Ando.  

Round 1: 

Niwa is looking to close the distance.  Niwa voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kanemoto accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Niwa.  
Kanemoto switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kanemoto pivots to the side of his opponent.  Niwa throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kanemoto time to recover.  
Niwa hits home with a left hook.  
Niwa is on target with a left uppercut.  
Kanemoto attempts to land a right uppercut, but Niwa blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Niwa connects with a cross.  
Niwa advances into close range.  Kanemoto throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Niwa closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kanemoto's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
