James Garr vs Chris Elrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Cowles Stadium, Christchurch,  taking place on 07/12/2036:

Clearly Jon Crosby have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Garr (4(4) - 0) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Chris Elrick(4 - 12(1) - 2) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Garr and Elrick weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Vert, and the three ringside judges are David Neild, Jonathan Lockaby and Hohepa Marino.  

Round 1: 

Garr steps inside.  Elrick throws a right hook, but Garr clinches his opponent.  Garr pushes his forearm into Elrick's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Garr goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Elrick's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Garr steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Garr clinches his opponent.  Elrick throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Garr lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Garr ties up his opponent.  Garr is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Garr pushes his forearm into Elrick's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Garr.  Garr throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Garr advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Garr holds on to his opponent.  Garr is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Garr is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.

Elrick gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Garr ties up his opponent.  Garr leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Elrick uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Garr behind the head. Garr tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Elrick behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Garr lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Garr closes the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.

He takes Garr's arm and signals to each of the judges that a point should be deducted!

Garr lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ELRICK DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Garr!
