Rex Keys vs Matt Hopping

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Kentucky promoted show at Louisville Evens, Louisville,  taking place on 04/12/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Deep South Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Keys (11 - 16 - 3) who hails from Memphis, USA and Matt Hopping(12 - 12(1) - 10) from Louisville, USA.  Both Keys and Hopping weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Carnegie, and the three ringside judges are Leon Prosser, Mark Malis and John Erskin.  

Round 1: 

Hopping sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Keys finds the target with a jab.  
Hopping closes the distance.  Keys digs in a right hook to Hopping's ribs.  
Hopping connects with a cross.  
Keys is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Keys pivots to the right of his opponent.  Keys throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Keys switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Keys is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hopping lands an overhand right.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Keys's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hopping's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Hopping's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Hopping pivots to the right of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hopping dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Keys digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hopping closes the distance.  Keys lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Keys sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.

Hopping pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  Hopping wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Keys.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
