Mark Yelton vs Chris Melrose

Boxing Daily Report from the Kronk Gym II promoted show at Elk's Temple, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 06/12/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Great Lakes Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Yelton (17 - 16 - 6) who hails from Detroit, USA and Chris Melrose(31(5) - 4 - 4) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Yelton and Melrose weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Duffey, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Gheeraert, Mick Wathen and Leon Russell.  

Round 1: 

Melrose throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Melrose holds on to his opponent.  Melrose is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Melrose.  
Melrose throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
