John Ahabwe vs David Aporu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Muntu, Lira,  taking place on 05/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ahabwe (1 - 13 - 3) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and David Aporu(5 - 6 - 1) from Lira, Uganda.  Ahabwe weighed in at 140 pounds, while Aporu weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Orru, and the three ringside judges are Yasin Abdelnour, Malcolm Kalemazikusoka and James Bourdillon.  

Round 1: 

Aporu advances into close range.  Ahabwe pivots to the side of his opponent.  Aporu tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Aporu advances into close range.  Ahabwe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aporu is on target with a right hook.  
Aporu gets on the inside and manouvers Ahabwe into a corner.  Aporu lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ahabwe's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Ahabwe's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Aporu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.
