Jesus Basulto vs Alejandro Callejas

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Estadio Nacional de Futbol, Managua,  taking place on 19/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Central American Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jesus Basulto (26(21) - 2(1)) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Alejandro Callejas(21 - 11(8)) from Panama City, Panama.  Basulto weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces, while Callejas weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neron Godines, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Salome, Antonio Quintero and Alvino Albo.  

Round 1: 

Basulto is on target with a solid cross.  
Basulto attempts to land an overhand right, but Callejas slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Basulto closes the distance.  Callejas attempts to land a left hook, but Basulto sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Basulto is on target with a left hook.  
Callejas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Basulto is on target with a jab.  
Callejas throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Basulto closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Basulto steps inside.  Callejas tries to land a left uppercut, but Basulto slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Basulto lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Basulto is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Callejas pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Callejas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Basulto hits home with a sharp cross.  
Callejas hits home with a right hook.  
Basulto cuts off the ring, trapping Callejas on the ropes.  Basulto connects with a left hook.  
Basulto lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Basulto could be enough to finish Callejas!  Basulto lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  It looks like Callejas has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Basulto is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  CALLEJAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Callejas quickly recovers. 
Basulto steps inside.  Callejas tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a spiteful left hook.  CALLEJAS IS HURT!  Callejas quickly recovers. 
Callejas throws a left hook, but Basulto holds on to his opponent.  Basulto pushes his forearm into Callejas's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Basulto.  
Callejas attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Basulto time to recover.  
Basulto lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Callejas lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Basulto lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Basulto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Basulto lands a firm left hook.  Basulto throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Callejas's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Callejas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Callejas's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Round 2: 

Callejas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Basulto gets on the inside and lands a MASSIVE left hook.  CALLEJAS IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Callejas steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Basulto tries to tag Callejas on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Basulto lands a cross to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Basulto closes the distance.  Basulto digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Basulto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Callejas has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .  
Basulto lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Basulto lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Callejas tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Basulto closes the distance and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Basulto gets on the inside.  Callejas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Callejas wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Basulto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Basulto lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Callejas tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a mean right hook.  CALLEJAS IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Callejas steps away from his opponent.  Basulto feints a jab, tricking Callejas into countering with a left uppercut.  Basulto avoids the shot and counters with a DEVASTATING left hook.  CALLEJAS HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE CALLEJAS THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Basulto!
