Gethin Hector vs Dave Gilmour

Boxing Daily Report from the YOUNG RICH promoted show at Fort Lauderdale Barbo, Fort Lauderdale,  taking place on 10/12/2036:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Florida Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Hector (16 - 7 - 2) who hails from Fort Lauderdale, USA and Dave Gilmour(27(22) - 14(11)) from Cape Coral, USA.  Both Hector and Gilmour weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Mortland, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Guerra, Davie Riquelme and Inigo Poyner.  

Round 1: 

Gilmour hits home with a left hook.  Gilmour ties up his opponent.  Gilmour is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gilmour about fouling.  
Gilmour lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hector almost instantly recovers. 
Gilmour cuts off the ring, trapping Hector in a corner.  Gilmour lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gilmour is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Gilmour gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Hector's ribs.  Gilmour clinches his opponent.  Gilmour leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gilmour feints a cross, tricking Hector into launching a right hook counter.  Gilmour avoids the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gilmour is looking to close the distance.  Hector throws a right hook, but Gilmour holds on to his opponent.  Gilmour leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gilmour uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hector's kidney. 
Gilmour is on target with a right hook to Hector's ribs.  
Gilmour lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gilmour forces Hector to retreat into a corner.  Gilmour digs in a sharp right uppercut to Hector's body.  
Gilmour lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gilmour lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Gilmour sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Gilmour is on target with a weighty left uppercut.  HECTOR IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Hector now seems to have got his legs back.  
Gilmour lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gilmour lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Gilmour is looking to force the stoppage!  Gilmour lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, DROPPING HECTOR TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  Hector now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Gilmour connects with a left hook.  Gilmour tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gilmour drives a solid right hook into Hector's body.  
Gilmour sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Gilmour is on target with a potent left hook to his opponents body.  HECTOR IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Gilmour ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Gilmour pushes his forearm into Hector's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gilmour.  
Gilmour lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Gilmour walks Hector into a neutral corner.  Gilmour is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Gilmour lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES HECTOR!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Gilmour!
