Jeraldo Dumo vs Sammy Ancheta

Boxing Daily Report from the Poku Promotions promoted show at Dimos Batacan Gym, Calamba,  taking place on 12/12/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jeraldo Dumo (7(4) - 0) who hails from Santa Rosa, Philippines and Sammy Ancheta(4 - 2) from Cainta, Philippines.  Both Dumo and Ancheta weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Sicat, and the three ringside judges are Colin Manalang, Olindo Isip and Arnie Gumiran.  

Round 1: 

Dumo lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Dumo tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Ancheta pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dumo connects with a stinging cross.  
Dumo is looking to keep his distance.  Dumo feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Dumo is on target with a jab.  
Dumo steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dumo connects with a left hook.  Dumo holds on to his opponent.  Dumo pushes his forearm into Ancheta's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dumo.

Dumo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Ancheta now seems to have his senses back.  
Dumo steps away from his opponent.  Dumo feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ancheta recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dumo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Ancheta steps inside.  Dumo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dumo drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Dumo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ancheta pushes his forearm into Dumo's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Dumo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Dumo feints a right hook, and then lands a spiteful jab.  
Dumo switches the action to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Dumo switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Dumo could be enough to force the stoppage!  Dumo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND ANCHETA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Ancheta now seems to have got his legs back.  
Dumo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Dumo feints a cross, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dumo lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Dumo switches the action to the outside.  Dumo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ancheta throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ancheta's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Ancheta's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Dumo lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Ancheta is on target with a left hook.  
Ancheta is looking to close the distance.  Dumo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ancheta recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
