Xavion Cayo vs Corey Findley

Boxing Daily Report from the iQ Boxing Global promoted show at Bally's Las Vegas, Las Vegas,  taking place on 30/12/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xavion Cayo (6(3) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Corey Findley(37 - 8(3) - 1) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Cayo and Findley weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darryl Draffen, and the three ringside judges are Chris Cadwallader, Ollie Latta and Darryl Draffen.  

Round 1: 

Cayo lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.

Findley advances into close range.  Findley lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Findley is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cayo steps away from his opponent and connects with a solid overhand right.  
Findley steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Findley drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Cayo steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Findley is looking to close the distance.  Cayo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Findley attempts to land a left hook, but Cayo parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cayo is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Findley quickly recovers.

Cayo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Cayo lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Cayo feints a jab, but Findley ignores the feint and responds with a left hook.  
Cayo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Findley digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Findley dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Findley walks Cayo onto the ropes.  Cayo attempts to land a right uppercut, but Findley sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cayo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cayo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Findley drives a left hook into Cayo's liver.  
Cayo hits home with a right uppercut.  
Findley walks Cayo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cayo is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Findley pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Cayo's body.  
Findley pivots to the side of his opponent.  Cayo connects with a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Findley's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Findley's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Findley lands a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cayo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Findley walks Cayo into the corner.  Findley pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cayo dabs at his face checking for damage.  Cayo has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
