Hitoshi Kimura vs Yoshi Ikeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo,  taking place on 03/01/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hitoshi Kimura (29(16) - 12(7) - 1(NC)) who hails from Kashiwa, Japan and Slick Yoshi Ikeda(25(12) - 5(5)) from Amagasaki, Japan.  Both Kimura and Ikeda weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Tsutsumi, and the three ringside judges are Yasushi Shishido, Satoshi Fuse and Daichi Noda.  

Round 1: 

Ikeda steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.
