Ian Polson vs Edmundo Alaniz

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 11/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Poison Ian Polson (22(21) - 0) who hails from Oceanside, USA and Edmundo Alaniz(24 - 31(22) - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Polson weighed in at 154 pounds, while Alaniz weighed in at 153 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Suttie, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Hall, Henry Franco and Mark Cardozo.  

Round 1: 

Alaniz throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.
