Gervasio Mirando vs Charlie Kinnard

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 11/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Iron Gervasio Mirando (54(49) - 3(1)) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Charlie Kinnard(19 - 9(2) - 1) from Overland Park, USA.  Both Mirando and Kinnard weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lewis Suttie, and the three ringside judges are Oscar Hall, Henry Franco and Mark Cardozo.  

Round 1: 

Kinnard sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Kinnard could be stopped here, if Mirando can find the right shot!  Mirando connects with a big left hook.  KINNARD IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Kinnard now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Kinnard cuts off the ring, trapping Mirando on the ropes.  Kinnard hits home with a right uppercut.  Mirando clinches his opponent.  Kinnard pushes his forearm into Mirando's face.  The referee warns Kinnard and breaks the clinch.

Kinnard gets on the inside.  Mirando pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kinnard throws a right hook, but Mirando clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mirando pushes his forearm into Kinnard's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mirando to stop fouling.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mirando dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kinnard pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kinnard goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Mirando time to recover.
