Jose Almanzar vs Carlos Maes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Edmundo Aja Gym, Monterrey,  taking place on 17/12/2036:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Almanzar (22 - 12 - 2) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Carlos Maes(13 - 10 - 2) from Guadalupe, Mexico.  Both Almanzar and Maes weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Carabello, and the three ringside judges are Vegas Sanchez, Vicente Ortego and Cortez Gloria.
