Sierra Pita vs Leonardo Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Arena Coliseo, Mexico City,  taking place on 17/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Pita (9(4) - 0) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Leonardo Mero(13 - 10 - 4) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Pita and Mero weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sierra Marcano, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Coronado, Joaquin Herran and Diego Arcia.  

Round 1: 

Pita steps inside and lands a firm left hook.  
Pita feints a cross, and then hits home with a stiff jab.  
Pita is looking to close the distance.  Pita quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mero throws a left uppercut, but Pita ties up his opponent.  Pita pushes his forearm into Mero's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pita to stop fouling.  
Pita walks Mero onto the ropes.  Pita is on target with a right hook.  
Pita gets on the inside.  Pita leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Mero tries to tag Pita on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Pita lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Pita connects with a left uppercut.  
Mero pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Pita lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mero pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mero connects with a left hook.  Pita ties up his opponent.  Pita throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pita about fouling.  
Pita steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Pita lands a stinging jab.  
Pita drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Pita steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Pita ties up his opponent.  Pita hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pita lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Pita lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Mero tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mero throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Pita time to recover.  
Pita advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Mero tries to keep the action at long range.  Pita drives a stinging cross into Mero's body.  
Mero throws a right hook, but Pita holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pita lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mero's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Mero's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Pita gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Pita ties up his opponent.  Pita leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Pita hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Pita is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Mero pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mero throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Pita lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Pita hits home with a cross.  
Mero attempts to land a left hook, but Pita blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Pita gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Pita lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mero lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Pita hits home with a firm cross.  
Pita steps inside.  Mero pivots to the right of his opponent.  Pita throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Pita ties up his opponent.  Pita leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Pita's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pita closes the distance.  Mero throws a left hook, but Pita holds on to his opponent.  Pita leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pita lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pita lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Pita lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Pita lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Pita is on target with a jab.  
Mero steps away from his opponent.  Mero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pita lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Pita gets on the inside.  Pita lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pita dabs at his face checking for damage.  Mero quickly recovers. 
Pita closes the distance and drives a firm left hook into Mero's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Pita's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mero's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mero tries to keep the action at long range.  Pita lands a weighty overhand right.  MERO IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Mero throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pita is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Mero attempts to land a left hook, but Pita blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful left uppercut.  MERO IS HURT!  
Mero is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pita senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Pita lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MERO TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Pita is looking to close the distance.  Pita is on target with a big cross.  MERO IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MERO CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Pita!
