Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 18/02/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Denton the Hitman McClelland (19(19) - 0 - 1) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Geerten Santon(29(8) - 19(7)) from Rotterdam, Netherlands.  Both McClelland and Santon weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bart Craw, and the three ringside judges are Amer Othman, Jack Chicas and Ian Pitcairn.  

Round 1: 

Santon lands with a sharp jab.  
McClelland is looking to keep his distance and lands a firm cross.

Santon attempts to land a left uppercut, but McClelland blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Santon gets on the inside and forces McClelland to back into the ropes.  McClelland hits home with a stinging right hook.  
McClelland drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
McClelland sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Santon throws a left hook, but McClelland holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McClelland pushes his forearm into Santon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Santon drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Santon gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McClelland digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Santon steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Santon manages to force McClelland onto the ropes.  McClelland lands a weighty right uppercut.  SANTON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  McClelland clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Santon pushes his forearm into McClelland's face.  The ref breaks McClelland's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Santon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McClelland is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Santon drives a right uppercut into McClelland's ribs.  
McClelland hits home with a right uppercut.  
McClelland is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
McClelland is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Santon lands a cross.

McClelland lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Santon quickly recovers. 
Santon steps inside.  McClelland throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  McClelland holds on to his opponent.  McClelland is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns McClelland.  
McClelland steps away from his opponent.  Santon lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Santon advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
McClelland tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Santon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Santon closes the distance.  McClelland connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
McClelland hits home with a right hook.  
McClelland lands with a spiteful jab.  
McClelland is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Santon quickly recovers. 
McClelland lands two straights to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
McClelland knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  McClelland lands a BRUTAL right uppercut.  SANTON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is McClelland!
