Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Cairo promoted show at Gezira Sporting Club, Cairo,  taking place on 27/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Middle East Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Danyaal Barakat (23(15) - 2) who hails from Sharjah, UAE and Tariq Popal(20 - 5(2) - 1) from Cairo, Egypt.  Both Barakat and Popal weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Abdel-Khaleq, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Mahdi, Tariq Marzouk and Shayan Hameed.

He beats the count, getting up at 7.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Popal doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Barakat!
