Waqar Shehata vs Waqas Alekperov

Boxing Daily Report from the Andoh Promotions promoted show at Abdul Takhmazov Gym, Tabriz,  taking place on 27/12/2036:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Shehata (3 - 9 - 1) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Waqas Alekperov(3 - 1) from Tabriz, Iran.  Both Shehata and Alekperov weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Sadyhov, and the three ringside judges are Amjad Agayev, Shayan Sharif and Majid Hasain.  

Round 1: 

Shehata switches the action to the outside.  Alekperov sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.
