Esteban Blandon vs Amon Monica

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at UWF Arena, Las Vegas,  taking place on 01/01/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Esteban Blandon (5(1) - 0) who hails from San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic and Amon Monica(18 - 20 - 4) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Blandon and Monica weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hasson, and the three ringside judges are Alec Rees, Chris Cadwallader and Brad Primrose.  

Round 1: 

Blandon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Blandon drives a sharp left uppercut into Monica's body.  Blandon throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Blandon steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Blandon steps away from his opponent and lands a solid cross.  
Blandon is looking to close the distance.  Blandon pivots to the right of his opponent.  Blandon digs in a left hook to Monica's body.  Blandon clinches his opponent.  Blandon leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
