Diego Valera vs Onofre Milian

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at UWF Arena, Las Vegas,  taking place on 01/01/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Valera (15(6) - 0) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Onofre Milian(17 - 8 - 4) from Guadalajara, Mexico.  Valera weighed in at 122 pounds, while Milian weighed in at 121 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alec Rees, and the three ringside judges are Chris Cadwallader, Mark Hasson and Brad Primrose.  

Round 1: 

Valera closes the distance.  Milian sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Valera is on target with a left hook.  
Valera hits home with a stiff jab.  
Valera is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Valera lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Valera cuts off the ring, trapping Milian in the blue corner.  Valera throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Valera holds on to his opponent.  Valera leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Valera lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Valera is looking to close the distance.  Valera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Valera digs in a right hook to Milian's ribcage.  
Valera is looking to close the distance and drives a solid left uppercut into Milian's body.  
Valera lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Milian quickly recovers. 
Valera manouvers Milian onto the ropes.  Valera lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Valera clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Valera pushes his forearm into Milian's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Valera about fouling.  
Milian throws a left hook, but Valera holds on to his opponent.  Valera is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Valera advances into close range.  Valera quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Milian throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Valera steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  Valera ties up his opponent.  Valera is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Valera manages to force Milian into a corner.  Valera lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Valera drives a right hook into Milian's body.  
Valera lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Valera sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Milian is on target with a jab.  
Valera lands a left hook to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Valera slams a nasty right hook into his opponents ribcage.  MILIAN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Milian quickly recovers. 
Valera is looking to close the distance.  Milian attempts to land a left uppercut, but Valera slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Milian's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Milian's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Milian's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Valera steps inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Valera lands a hard jab.  Valera throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Milian walks Valera down, trapping him on the ropes.  Valera lands a spiteful jab.  
Milian steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Valera walks Milian onto the ropes.  Valera lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MILIAN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Valera clinches his opponent.  Valera tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Milian behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Valera.  
Valera EXPLODES a SAVAGE cross into his opponents face.  Milian now seems to have his senses back.  
Valera steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Valera attempts to land a left uppercut, but Milian blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Valera digs in a left hook to Milian's body.  
Valera gets on the inside and connects with a WICKED right hook.  MILIAN IS DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Valera!
