Vidal Reyes vs Gervasio Calero

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, Los Angeles,  taking place on 31/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are King Vidal Reyes (15(13) - 1) who hails from Magangue, Colombia and Gervasio Calero(10 - 2 - 2) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Both Reyes and Calero weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Madoc, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Cossio, Sam Salvas and Ian Pettry.  

Round 1: 

Reyes closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Calero's ribs.  
Reyes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Calero lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Reyes advances into close range.  Calero throws a left hook, but Reyes clinches his opponent.  Reyes leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Reyes gets on the inside and is on target with a stinging right hook to Calero's body.  Reyes ties up his opponent.  Calero hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Reyes throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Reyes holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Reyes pushes his forearm into Calero's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Reyes.

Calero tries to land a jab, but Reyes sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Reyes is looking to close the distance.  Reyes sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Calero's ribs.

Reyes advances into close range and throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Reyes clinches his opponent.  Reyes uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Calero's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Reyes.

Reyes steps inside.  Calero throws a right hook, but Reyes clinches his opponent.  Calero is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Calero about fouling.

Reyes lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS CALERO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.
