Vidal Galas vs Carlos Mula

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Rascon, Asuncion,  taking place on 31/12/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay-Asuncion Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vidal Galas (15 - 15(1) - 8) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Carlos Mula(10(4) - 0) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Galas weighed in at 126 pounds and 10 ounces, while Mula weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.    As Galas came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Zelipe Colmenares, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Segundo, Nemesio Vidales and Bronco Albino.

Mula is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Mula advances into close range and drives a left hook into Galas's body.  
Mula closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mula lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Galas switches the action to the outside.  Mula hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Mula gets on the inside and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Mula advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mula closes the distance.  Mula pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Galas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mula is on target with a solid left hook.  
Mula feints a cross, and then lands with a stinging jab.  
Galas steps to the outside.  Mula lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Galas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mula lands a stinging left hook.  
Mula lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Galas lands a cross.  
Mula is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mula walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mula lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mula senses Galas is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mula lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS GALAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  Galas now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mula closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mula is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Mula ties up his opponent.  Mula pushes his forearm into Galas's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mula about fouling.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Galas's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Galas's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Mula closes the distance.  Mula drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  GALAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Galas quickly recovers. 
Galas tries to keep the action at long range.  Mula connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Mula is on target with a left hook to Galas's ribs.  
Mula lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mula lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND GALAS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Mula thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Galas away.  Mula lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND GALAS IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Mula!
