Joey Saam vs Larenzo Graciano

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 04/03/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joey Big Bam Saam (52(47) - 2(1)) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Larenzo Graciano(15(2) - 6(3)) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Saam and Graciano weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Bartolome, and the three ringside judges are Lee Copland, Paul Herring and Kiki Aybar.  

Round 1: 

Saam is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Saam holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Saam pushes his forearm into Graciano's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Saam lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Saam clinches his opponent.  Graciano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Graciano about fouling.  
Saam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Saam is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  Saam tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Saam lands a sharp jab.  Saam attempts to land a cross, but Graciano blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Saam steps inside.  Saam is on target with a right hook.  As Saam tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Graciano dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Saam lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Saam drives a left uppercut into Graciano's liver.  
Saam lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Saam digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam pushes his forearm into Graciano's face.  The ref breaks Saam's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Saam lands a SAVAGE right uppercut.  GRACIANO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Saam could be enough to finish Graciano!  Saam lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS GRACIANO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Graciano now seems to have got his legs back.  
Saam lands a left uppercut.  
Saam tries to land a right hook, but Graciano blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Saam closes the distance.  Graciano is on target with a right hook.  Saam clinches his opponent.  Saam is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Saam.  
Graciano lands a jab.  
Saam lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Saam clinches his opponent.  Saam pushes his forearm into Graciano's face.  The referee warns Saam and breaks the clinch.  
Saam is looking to close the distance.  Graciano pivots to the side of his opponent.  Saam lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Saam closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saam is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Saam lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Graciano quickly recovers. 
Saam is on target with a stinging right hook to Graciano's ribcage.  Saam ties up his opponent.  Saam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Saam digs in a potent right hook to his opponents body.  GRACIANO IS HURT!  
Graciano is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Graciano could be stopped here, if Saam can find the right shot!  Saam lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND SENDS GRACIANO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Graciano's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Graciano's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Graciano's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Saam gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Graciano quickly recovers. 
Saam is on target with a solid left hook to Graciano's liver.  
Saam walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Saam lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Graciano quickly recovers. 
Saam lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Saam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Saam snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Saam attempts to land a left uppercut, but Graciano blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Saam lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Saam holds on to his opponent.  Saam tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Graciano behind the head. Saam leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saam is on target with a stinging right hook to Graciano's body.  
Saam crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  GRACIANO IS HURT!  Graciano almost instantly recovers. 
Saam lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND GRACIANO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Saam!
