Desiderio Basto vs Vicente Cruz

Boxing Daily Report from the POWERHOUSE promoted show at Barcelona Lepe, Barcelona,  taking place on 06/01/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Catalonia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Basto (10 - 7(2) - 4) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Vicente Cruz(27(5) - 2(2)) from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain.  Basto weighed in at 154 pounds, while Cruz weighed in at 154 pounds and 9 ounces.    As Cruz came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Berto Guillermo, and the three ringside judges are Fausto Mieras, Fausto Mieras and Pablo Zevallos.
