Xavion Lanza vs Vicente Capistran

Boxing Daily Report from the Boomer Promotions promoted show at Rafael Trejo Boxing Gym, Havana,  taking place on 06/01/2037:

Clearly Boomer Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavion Lanza (5 - 0) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Vicente Capistran(5 - 1 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Lanza weighed in at 126 pounds, while Capistran weighed in at 125 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cortez Bastidas, and the three ringside judges are Ponce Cortina, Jose Tadeo and Pedro Pico.  

Round 1: 

Capistran is looking to keep his distance.  Capistran sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lanza lands a firm overhand right.  
Lanza walks Capistran down, trapping him in a corner.  Lanza lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lanza connects with a stinging left hook.

Lanza quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Capistran steps away from his opponent.  Capistran sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Capistran attempts to land an overhand left, but Lanza blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Lanza sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Lanza closes the distance and walks Capistran onto the ropes.  Lanza lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Capistran attempts to land a right hook, but Lanza parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Lanza is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Lanza steps inside and walks Capistran onto the ropes.  Lanza lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Lanza tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Lanza is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lanza advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Capistran in the corner.  Lanza lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lanza lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Lanza has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Lanza uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Capistran's kidney. The referee warns Lanza and breaks the clinch.
